[edit] General Information

What It Is

pp_gui is a Matlab application (Psychophysiology Graphical User Interface) that enable parsing, sorting, filtering and measuring analogue responses outputted from AcqKnowledge. It was developed in-house by Wojtek Grabski, a former ACL lab technician.

Acquisition and Pulsing Standard

In order for pp_gui to function properly, acquisition of Biopac data needs to conform to our very own Psychophysiology Markers Standard; this standard ensures that experiment blocks and trials are delineated within the dataset and that channel labels are descriptive enough to allow parsing of data.

[edit] Installation

pp_gui will only function from within the ACLab. You must be either physically located inside the lab, or be connected to the lab via our "OpenVPN":http://openvpn.net/ in order to use this package.

Configuring Matlab

pp_gui is located on PAULI, or data server, and its location needs to be added to the Matlab path in order for functions to be available for your use.

The full pathname to the package, and the path that needs to be added into Matlab, is:

\\pauli\bin\MATLABR14\work\pp_gui
