[edit] Data Collection

  • AcqKnowledge is the Biopac software that accompanies their hardware used for recording the PP data on the Computer. It is run during the experiment to collect data.

[edit] Experiment

  • E-Prime is the primary (actually, as of 2008, the only) experiment program ACL uses for PP data collection. You can look at a sample E-Prime experiment designed for PP collection.


[edit] Experiment-Data Synchronization (Markers)

There is no other special software for sending the markers. This is done within the E-Prime experiment. The ACL has a standardized set of rules for sending and labeling markers.

As of 2008, there are two different programs for analysing PP data.

  • ANSLab (Autonomic Nervous Systems Lab) is a Matlab application developed by some folks at the University of Basle, Switzerland.
  • pp_gui is also a Matlab application developed in-house by Wojtek Grabski.
